Review: The Perks of Being a Wallflower by Stephen Chbosky

After hearing such great things about this book, I decided to by it before the film came out. This is a story about a socially awkward and troubled teen (with what I believe is PTSD but I’m not entirely sure) navigating his first year of high school, and all the mishaps and relationships he experiences along the way. It is such a touching story and so incredibly realistic of real life and that is what makes this book so entrancing and exhilarating. Sad at ties, funny at others, excellent always.

It is written in the form of letters to an unknown person, and so I did find it slightly difficult to read, but it was definitely worth powering through.

Keep reading xox.
